Marva Boatman has been a retired special education teacher from the Washington, D.C. school district since 2015 and had a career teaching children with special needs. Her education is a B.S. degree in special education, Florida State University, Tallahassee, Florida, and an M.A. in Education and Human Development, George Washington University, Washington D.C.
