Karen J Carlisle writes speculative fiction - Victorian mystery, steampunk, fantasy, and cosies with a twist - with articles published in Australian Realms Roleplaying Magazine, and short stories featured in the 2016 Adelaide Fringe exhibition, 'A Trail of Tales', 'Where's Holmes?', 'Deadsteam' and 'Sherlock is a Girl's Name' anthologies. Her short story, 'An Eye for Detail', was short-listed by the Australian Literature Review in their 2013 Murder/Mystery Short Story Competition.Karen lives in Adelaide with her family and the ghost of her ancient Devon Rex.She's always loved dark chocolate and rarely refuses a cup of tea.www.karenjcarlisle.com
