Dalha Waziri urodzi¿ si¿ 27 czerwca 1967 r. w Danladin Gumel w stanie Jigawa w Nigerii. W 2009 r. uzyskä tytu¿ doktora historii na Uniwersytecie Bayero w Kano (BUK). Obecnie jest profesorem nadzwyczajnym na Wydziale Historii BUK. Jego zainteresowania obejmuj¿ system w¿adzy tubylczej oraz jego przemiany w okresie kolonialnym i postkolonialnym w Nigerii.
