Die Autorin hat schon immer gern Dinge aufgeschrieben, festgehalten, damit sie nicht in Vergessenheit geraten. Dabei entdeckte sie, dass sie eine eigene Art hatte, sich mit den Dingen zu beschäftigen. So entstanden z. B. viele Gedichte, die sich mit dem "Dasein" an sich befassen. Es gibt viele verschiedene Interessen, aber die Dinge, die mit klarer Wissenschaft nicht erklärbar sind, waren die reizvollsten Themen, esoterische Themen gehörten genauso wie Grenzwissenschaftliches z. B. Quantenphysik dazu. Lesen ist eine der Lieblingsbeschäftigungen, aber auch ganz Bodenständiges wie Fotografieren. Die Welt, die Menschen aus verschiedenen Blickwinkeln sehen, ist eine spannende Sache und weitet den eigenen Horizont.
