Autorenporträt
Lande Anjous-Zygmunt was born in Lagos, Nigeria, where she attended the prestigious Queen's College for girls. As a teenager, she moved to England for a short period to attend the Greenacres School for Girls. She then returned to Lagos to read for a BSc in Economics at the University of Lagos after which she read for an MBA at the Manchester Business School. While living in England for the second time, she met her Swedish husband Peter Zygmunt and they made the decision to move to Sweden together. Once settled in Lund, Sweden, in 2006, Lande decided to put her business acumen and passion for the arts to good use, and established the modernafricanart gallery to showcase contemporary African art. Today, Lande lives in Lund with her husband and two children, Dominic and Gabriela. In her spare time she enjoys music, dance, theatre & opera, as well as discovering new world cuisines with her gastronome husband. Her love of the arts and cultural heritage of Africa has remained one of her defining passions, and she is committed to maintaining this cultural heritage and sharing it with the world. It is her firm belief that the arts of Africa are of a world class standard, and she aims to bring them to the global audience they deserve.
