The author grew up and went to school in Munich. After obtaining his general university entrance qualification, he began studying Catholic theology at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich in October 2010. After a year of study at the Gregoriana in Rome, he completed his studies in Munich in 2015 with a Master of Theology degree.
