Pleurotus spp. are easy to cultivate due to their lignocellulosic characteristics. This allows it to colonize various compounds abundant in the agro-industry. Based on this, the aim of the present study was to evaluate the biological and production parameters and to characterize the basidiomata of P. ostreatus var. florida grown in different formulations based on bean pods without the grain, malt bagasse, sawdust and algaroba leaves from a physicochemical point of view. To this end, a test was carried out on the influence of light and temperature on mycelial development; characterization of the individual substrates in terms of pH, reducing sugars, non-reducing sugars and total sugars, ash and soluble solids; evaluation of the biological, productive and nutritional aspects of the basidiomes and the carbon (C), nitrogen (N) and C/N ratio contents of the formulations.
Autorenporträt
She has a Master's degree in Biotechnology Applied to Renewable Resources, with a focus on the bioprospecting and application of fungi of economic interest. Her main research interest is to investigate and develop sustainable processes for the bioconversion of lignocellulosics to produce bioactives and alternative proteins.
