This two-volume edited collection is intended to be a contribution to humankind s efforts to find its way out from the global long-lasting socio-economic crises that have been visible in one form or another since 2008 and has been caused by the monopolistic abuse of free markets and democracy and the replacement of the Keynesian economic model and state capitalism with neoliberalism. The carefully chosen contributions rest on three principles, that we can achieve neither social responsibility nor sustainability if we do not incorporate innovation into a given practice, the importance of non-technological and user-friendly innovations in mutual relations, and the role of technological innovations that make healthy living and work easier.
This first volume explores societal development from neoliberalism to Innovative Sustainable Socially Responsible Society (ISSRS) and the necessity for good governance supporting sustainable behaviour and social responsibility. Topics covered include well-being managers, the impact of artificial intelligence, Sustainable Occupation Safety and Health and resolving differences and conflicts between generations. This academically grounded work will be of great interest to students and scholars of sustainability, innovation management, digital business and sociologists of work.
