Basic to Modern Strategies of Synthetic Organic Chemistry offers fresh perspectives and interests to professionals engaged in organic synthesis in various fields. The book starts with sections for review and understanding of reactions and proceeds with more in-depth knowledge in organic synthesis, including examples of total synthesis. Sections provide a systematic learning of organic reactions, with a focus on the relatively simple yet somewhat complex approach to compound synthesis. Furthermore, this reference will serve as a useful resource for graduate students to enhance their understanding and review of organic chemistry and synthesis. It includes examples of total synthesis that helps pursuing further studies. Additionally, the book provides an introduction to environmental and economic considerations in synthesis, which has become an important issue in recent years, especially for those working in fine chemicals and the pharmaceutical industry. The book also introduces flow chemistry, along with an overview of the processes and equipment used.
