"Listening to children in their role as students" seeks to highlight childhood as a social actor by giving visibility to the voices of children in grades 1 through 4 of basic education who are experiencing their childhood in the daily life of a private school. This is a study of the concepts of "studenthood" and "childhood," based on the Sociology of Childhood, more specifically on Regine Sirota (2001, p.15).
