Blame it on my grandpa. If he had to be in the house, it was to eat breakfast or watch a baseball game. Following the lure of the woods was his passion. Don Wadley grew up in small-town Oklahoma. He was blessed to have both sets of grandparents close by, and they had a tremendous influence on his life. This influence is evident in his writings. Don's previous book, "Growing Up with Relatives" was nominated in 2019 for the "National Book Award".
