Clark combines her passion for storytelling, diverse cultures, and wildlife with her love for the wild in her captivating multicultural books.Writing for both adults and children, T.M. Clark is the author of Shooting Butterflies, Tears of A Cheetah, Child of Africa, Nature of the Lion, Cry of the Firebird, and the critically acclaimed My Brother-But-One, nominated for a Queensland Literary People's Choice Award in 2014. Her children's picture books, Slowly! Slowly! (a 2018 CBCA Notable Book) and Quickly! Quickly!, are beloved by young readers and are companion pieces to Child of Africa.When she's not writing thrilling adventure stories, T.M. Clark is dedicated to helping other writers. As the coordinator of the CYA Conference, she provides professional development for both new and established writers and illustrators.
