About AuthorDeborah Share spent her career in the Philadelphia School District as a special education teacher, counselor, and administrator. For many of her students, the path was not easy-but Deborah became an expert inhelping them navigate big emotions and tough challenges, always offering comfort, understanding, and hope.It's no surprise she earned the nickname "Care Bear Share."The beloved character of Mama was inspired by Deborah's real-life moments with children-those who left an indelible mark on her heart. She believes that when we give hope and joy to others, we grow that same hope and joy within ourselves.Today, Deborah's most cherished title is "MomMom" to her eight beloved grandchildren.Teddy was inspired by "the littles" in her family-five grandchildren born within just three years-blended with the spirit of her former students, especially those with learning differences and invisible challenges.Deborah lives in Pennsylvania with her husband, Scott, and their dog, Malani. With all of her grandchildrennearby, there's always a fresh set of ears ready for a new story.
