In Mexico, programs have been implemented in schools as a response to nutritional problems that consider excesses or deficiencies; an example of this is the Full-Time School Program (PETC), which includes an important component of food control. Its relevance has been evaluated, but not the effect on the nutritional status of the beneficiaries, so the objective of the study is to evaluate the effect of the feeding component on the anthropometric profile and the quality of the diet.
