Ermias Melaku Addis (professore assistente) ha conseguito un master in Economia e politica delle risorse naturali e una laurea in Estensione agricola. Ha lavorato per oltre 6 anni come ricercatore socioeconomico presso il Centro di ricerca agricola di Bonga. Dal 2012 è docente presso il Jimma University College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine.
