Autorenporträt
Mike is a decorated retired career Marine officer and educator. A California native, he spent most of his military service serving multiple tours at Camp Pendleton where he and his wife, Dana, raised their three children. As a Marine officer, he commanded units from the platoon level through the battalion level. Upon retiring from the Marines, he taught high school and served as a faculty development coordinator for the Marine Corps Command and Staff College. The son of a career naval officer, Mike's upbringing had a significant impact on his character development and faith. Husband, father, and grandfather, Mike's life has been filled with challenges and significant hurdles. His life lessons are applicable to young and old alike. Boiling life down to the essential rules of the road, Sullivan Strong is a blueprint for overcoming fear and disappointment and achieving happiness in our chaotic world.
