Produktbeschreibung
Jacques Derrida, a marginal Jew, experienced in his life exclusion, marginalization, oppression and rejection. His philosophy of deconstruction is the outcome of his own personal experiences. The totalitarian projects of western metaphysics, epistemological projects of enlightenment, the imperialism of the European countries, the existence of domination in every realm of human life (social, political, economical, geographical), patriarchal domination in the society, the domination of whites over blacks in the West, high caste over low caste in India have provided sufficient reasons and conditions for the rise of marginalized consciousness. It gave rise to revolution as these are governed by a logic that intentionally allows hierarchy, hegemony, inequality and superiority. Thus, in the fight for equality, there have been freedom movements, conventions on human rights, child rights, women rights, forums for Dalit empowerment and tribal upliftment and social service centers for the development of the poor. So too, the philosophy of deconstruction is another revolution towards the establishment of equality and justice in the society.
