Author and early childhood educator for nearly 30 years.At age five, Sara taught and told stories to a class of stuffed animals and toy dolls under the willow tree. Thus began Willow Tree Tales. These early experiences led to a career that inspired real students.After leaving the willow tree, Sara graduated from Houghton College. She earned a Master of Science in Education in Reading from the State University of New York at Geneseo and a Graduate Certificate in Mind, Brain, and Teaching from Johns Hopkins University. She has led professional development seminars for fellow educators.Sara's classroom experiences inspire her books and reflect her passion for empowering children. She hopes her latest book, Definitely, will help instill kindness and empathy in young children, encouraging them to practice these values in their daily lives.Sara and her husband live in scenic New York, are Adirondack 46ers, and enjoy birdwatching, puzzles, and board games.
