Autorenporträt
Marcia Layer-Howard has a bachelor's degree in American Politics and Urban Studies from Seton Hall University. In the Summer of 1992, she received certification from Newark Public Schools and Essex County College to teach science and technology for Newark Public School in Newark, New Jersey. For 27 years, she taught in Newark Public. She devoted 20 of those years to teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade science, using science fiction to engage and teach her students in science.She is a wife, mother of 4, and grandmother of 8. Today, she is active in her church and volunteers in educational projects in New Jersey, Michigan, and Maryland. As a retired teacher, she enjoys traveling with her husband, Ronald.
