Zaynab Layth AbdulJabbar, geboren am 2. Januar 1979 in Bagdad, Irak. Erlangte 2003 einen B.A. an der Universität Bagdad, Fakultät für Sprachen, Fachbereich Englische Sprache, und 2011 einen M.A. in Englischer Literatur an derselben Universität. Seit 2004 Mitarbeiterin im Ministerium für Hochschulbildung und wissenschaftliche Forschung der Republik Irak.
