Elisa is about to marry her ideal boyfriend, until she starts reading a novel which brings her back to old times like a magnet. Much to her regret, she remembers--over and over again--a love that is still alive: Sebastian, that enigmatic client she met at Three Loves, the small New York bookstore where she worked. How long does it take for old wounds to heal? Do we forget a person by jumping into the arms of another? Elisa believes that reading and passion can save her from sadness, but the past becomes present again, like a perfume scent that swiftly takes us to the exact moment that we thought we had already overcome. [The book] is a beautiful love story that travels through time, one which seems to show that everything we love becomes fiction. [The author] takes us to New York City on the trail of a surprising plot and makes readers fall in love at every corner"--
