With the increasing demand for sustainable construction materials, researchers are exploring innovative solutions. This book investigates the feasibility of using industrial steel fibers (ISF) and tyre steel fibers (TSF) as partial cement replacements in concrete pavements. The study evaluates Fiber Reinforced Concrete (FRC) and Hybrid Fiber Reinforced Concrete (HFRC) to enhance mechanical properties such as compressive, flexural, and split tensile strength. Experimental results reveal the potential of hybrid fibers in improving concrete performance, especially at 2% replacement. A valuable resource for engineers, researchers, and students, this book presents findings in an accessible format with tables and graphs, providing insights into sustainable concrete technology. This study examines the impact of waste tyre steel fibers and industrial steel fibers on concrete's mechanical properties. Experimental results show that a 2% replacement of hybrid steel fibers with cement optimally enhances flexural and split tensile strength while reducing PQC thickness and construction costs. The findings suggest that hybrid fiber reinforced concrete is a viable, cost-effective.
