Passed M.Sc. Zoology in 1986 from Govt. College University Lahore, Pakistan and started teaching as Lecturer in Department of Higher Education, Punjab. While pursuing further studies, completed M.Phil Zoology in 2001 and PhD. in 2015. In the meantime, was promoted to the Professor of Biology.Ichthyology is the main field of research.
