Sein Fachgebiet ist Angewandte Chemie mit besonderem Schwerpunkt auf Nanomedizin, angewandte Biowissenschaften und bioanalytische Verfahren. Er hat derzeit 20 internationale Veröffentlichungen in verschiedenen Fachzeitschriften mit hohem Impact-Faktor und 2 angemeldete Patente.
