Jessika Castellanos is a pediatric registered nurse and nursing educator. She grew up in California and comes from a very tight-knit family of five sisters, two nephews, and three nieces. She wrote this book as a tribute to her nephew, Daniel, whose constant strength and perseverance continue to inspire her every day.
