Produktbeschreibung
Polyaniline is an extremely versatile conductive organic polymer that can be obtained by chemical or electrochemical synthesis. In this book, the author describes the chemical synthesis of polyanilines by different routes that lead to the formation of polymers with different degrees of oxidation. These polyanilines were characterized and modified by activation reaction with polygluteraldehyde, resulting in material that was used as a support for the immobilization of horseradish peroxidase, a model enzyme in redox reactions. The enzyme immobilization process underwent optimization of the reaction parameters between the enzyme-support pair, and then the PANIG 1-HRP system was characterized in terms of its operational characteristics in heterogeneous catalysis reactions. Immobilization conferred thermostability to the enzyme and allowed it to catalyze in the presence of ethanol, acetone, and acetonitrile. The PANIG 1-HRP system was used to produce a mini-reactor for analyte determination by flow injection (FIA). The system was stable and reproducible for direct determination of pyrogallol and hydrogen peroxide and indirect determination of glucose content.
