Christian Ways Magazine In 762 BC, God sent a single man into the heart of the world's most violent empire. His mission? Deliver a message of mercy to a kingdom bathed in blood. Jonah: In the Time of the Kings sweeps you into a miracle-laced journey-through storm-tossed seas, the belly of a great fish, and across 500 miles of war-ravaged land-toward the towering gates of Nineveh. Witness Jonah wrestle with his calling, his love for Naomi, and his loyalty to his lifelong friend Amos. Stand before the brutal King and Queen of Nineveh as a city trembles on the edge of judgment. But above all, encounter the relentless grace of God-who sends a flawed, reluctant prophet to spark one of the most astonishing spiritual awakenings in history.
Autorenporträt
Anthony Barbera is a writer and composer, drawing inspiration from his deep love for both music and books. He kicked off his journey as a music composer for films and ads, earning his Bachelor's in Music Composition from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. While chasing his Master's at the University of Massachusetts, Anthony racked up a bunch of awards, snagging first prize for "Two Songs for Soprano and Orchestra on Poems by Rilke," which was performed by the North Carolina Symphony Orchestra. But Anthony's love for writing and storytelling couldn't be held back. He especially felt the pull when asked to guide a group of ambitious teenagers in writing and acting for their debut film, X Marks the Spot, at the First Sonoma Film Festival.
