Die Autorin arbeitet als Lehrerin in der Abteilung für Schulbildung in Kaschmir und absolviert ein Doktorandenprogramm auf Teilzeitbasis in der Abteilung für Managementstudien an der Universität von Kaschmir. Außerdem hat die Autorin einen M.Phil. in Managementstudien gemacht und den National Eligibility Test (NET) in Tourismusverwaltung und -management bestanden.
