Knowledge is becoming increasingly important for every company as the fourth factor of production alongside labour, capital and land. Constantly changing conditions require companies to adapt more quickly. Perceiving and responding to these changes requires knowledge. This, in turn, is based on skills and abilities that are linked to individuals and used to solve problems. Knowledge is developed through conscious, learning engagement with the environment and depends on interaction with people. How communication can succeed in family farms and what significance this has for knowledge transfer is the subject of this thesis. Experts emphasise the great importance of personal conversation in knowledge transfer. The focus is on learning from each other. This requires personal and temporal conditions that need to be developed and shaped.
