Prof. dr Svetozar Sofijani¿ è nato il 10 marzo 1968 a Uice, in Serbia. Si è laureato presso la Facoltà di Ingegneria meccanica di Belgrado nel 1995. Ha conseguito il Master nel 1999. Nel 2010 ha difeso la sua tesi di dottorato presso la stessa Facoltà dell'Università di Belgrado. Ha iniziato a lavorare al Politecnico di Belgrado nel 2013 come professore.
