Po uzyskaniu tytu¿ów M.Com, M.A, M.Phil i Ph.D. pracowä jako kierownik projektu w IIPS w Bombaju. Opublikowä jedn¿ ksi¿¿k¿ i wiele artyku¿ów. Jest cz¿onkiem organizacji zawodowej IASSH. Ta ksi¿¿ka dotyczy demografii, która jest przedmiotem jego szczególnego zainteresowania.
