Autorenporträt
Benedetto Ielpo currently works as a Head of Surgical Unit at the Hospital del Mar in Barcelona. Since the beginning of his career, he has devoted many hours to surgical and research activities, in particular minimally invasive procedures (including laparoscopy and robotics) and oncological surgery. He is currently associate professor at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, official secretary of the Spanish chapter of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and certified by the European Board of Surgery in hepatobiliopancreatic and oncological surgery (UEMS). He is president and founder of the ACIE (Association of Italian Surgeons in Europe) and author of more than 190 publications in indexed journals.

Alessandro Anselmo is Senior Consultant Surgeon at the Department of Surgery, HPB and Transplantation Surgery Unit, Policlinico Tor Vergata, Rome, Italy and Professor of Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Rome Tor Vergata. He is a liver and kidney transplant surgeon with extensive experience and passion in HPB oncological surgery with a strong interest in new technologies applied to minimally invasive liver and pancreas surgery. He authored 119 publications indexed in Web of Science and numerous surgical videos and was involved in numerous international and national conferences and courses.

Edoardo Rosso is Head of the Department of General, Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery at the Centre Hôspitalier de Luxembourg. He is an expert in HPB surgery, particularly in the field of vascular resection and minimally invasive surgery. He is a member of the European Board of Surgery - HPB Division. He has extensive experience in educational promotion in the field of HPB. Author and co-author of more than 100 publications indexed in Web of Science and numerous surgical videos.
