Autorenporträt
Mustafa Amen é professor na Universidade de Cihan. Licenciou-se na Universidade de Bagdade em 1994 e obteve o seu mestrado na mesma universidade em 1998. É autor de vários trabalhos de investigação e artigos, sendo também um dos membros do conselho editorial de uma revista de Assuntos Urbanos Contemporâneos. Atualmente, está a fazer o doutoramento na Universidade Americana de Girne.
