Pavel Pavlovitch, PhD (1998), DSc (2015) is Professor of Arabo-Islamic Civilization at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski. He has published the monograph The Formation of the Islamic Understanding of Kalāla (Brill 2016) and contributes to Encyclopaedia of Islam Three.
