Institutional delivery has a positive effect. Female sex has a negative effect. Longer birth interval (2+) has a negative effect. Working mothers have high mortality of children. Antenatal care (3+) and Tetanus toxide injections (2+) which are essential component of maternal health care do not show any significant relationship with mortality except in India.
