Gabrielle Harris has a BA (hons) in Chinese from the School of Oriental & African Studies and a Masters in History & Economics from Nanking University in China. Her 35-year career in China exposed her to a wide range of economic thinking in top-down reform, business, and in the application of design thinking to financial inclusion in the context of EU-sponsored development projects. Gabrielle has written books on bank automation and delivered numerous presentations on distributed energy, financial inclusion, and urbanisation policy at international conferences.
