Dr. Sanjay Singla (MS, FACRSI, FIAGES, FALS), is currently working as a consultant, and colorectal surgeon, at Singla Hospital, Bhiwani, and Holy Heart Hospital, Rohtak, India. He is a regular faculty for FACRSI and runs training programs in minimal access and LASERS in anorectal surgeries. He graduated from Government Medical College, Patiala, India. He successfully passed the fellowship examination of the Association of Colon and Rectal Surgeons of India and received a fellowship from the Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo-Surgeons for advanced laparoscopic colorectal surgery. He developed an animal model to teach doctors minimal access and LASER surgeries in the anorectum and won the best paper at Fistulacon-2021. He was awarded International Travel Fellowship at Heartlands Hospital NHS Trust Birmingham, England. He was invited as faculty to 19th Annual meeting of the Cairo Colorectal and Pelvic Floor Congress of the Egyptian Society of Colon and Rectum (ESCR) the Mediterranean Society of Pelvic Floor Disorders (MSPFD) and ISUCRS Interim Conference 2025, to deliberate upon his new classification of pilonidal sinus disease. He has authored chapters for medical books and published papers in national and international medical journals. He has also presented at various national and international meetings. Dr. Kushal Mital (MS, FACRSI) graduated from Medical College Allahabad, India. He is the course director of minimal invasive proctology, IMMAST, Mumbai, and AMASI, GEM, Chennai, India and he is also practicing colorectal surgery in Mumbai. He has successfully cleared the fellowship examination conducted by the Association of Colon and Rectal Surgeons of India. He has been invited as a faculty for several conferences including the ASUCRS conference in Istanbul, Turkey in 2022, the ASCRS conference, in Seattle, USA in 2023, and SMCRCA conference in Merida, Mexico in 2023. He has authored chapters for medical books and published numerous papers in national and international medical journals. He has authored a book on Common Anorectal Disorders-Surgical Perspective. He has presented multiple oral and poster presentations at several national and international conferences. He will be president-elect of the Association of Colon and Rectal Surgeons of India from 2025-27.
