This study was based on data obtained from the author's experience as a scholarship student in the Institutional Teaching Initiation Scholarship Program - PIBID in the UNESP Pedagogy degree course, who worked in elementary school I in a state school in the interior of São Paulo in 2011 and 2012. Among the various approaches to the study of teacher training, teaching work and pedagogical practices, the reflection on this experience led to the study of the relationship between the PIBID teaching initiation scholarship holder and the collaborating teacher, with the aim of identifying the training elements for teaching performance stemming from subject management and class management, relationships that the PIBID program proposal makes possible through the interaction between the learning acquired at university and at the basic education school, with the aim of improving the initial and continuing training of teachers.
