Autorenporträt
Oliver Rathkolb war von 2006 bis 2024 Professor am Institut für Zeitgeschichte der Universität Wien, Vorsitzender des internationalen wissenschaftlichen Beirats des Hauses der Europäischen Geschichte in Brüssel und Vorstandsmitglied des Jüdischen Museums Wien und des Salzburger Festspielarchivs.

Dr.phil. Bertrand Perz, geb. 1958 in Linz, Historiker, war Universitätsprofessor am Institut für Zeitgeschichte der Universität Wien. Präsident der Österreichischen Gesellschaft für Zeitgeschichte, Vorstandsmitglied des Wiener Wiesenthal Instituts für Holocaust-Studien sowie des Vereins Dokumentationsarchiv des Österreichischen Widerstands. Mitglied in den wissenschaftlichen Beiräten der KZ-Gedenkstätten Mauthausen (Vorsitzender), Bergen-Belsen sowie Buchenwald und Mittelbau-Dora. Stv. Mitglied im Kunstrückgabebeirat des Bundeskanzleramtes. Forschungsschwerpunkte: Nationalsozialismus, Lager, Ghettos, Zwangsarbeit und Kriegswirtschaft, Holocaust, Erinnerungskultur.

Sybille Steinbacher is Director of the Fritz Bauer Institute and Professor of the History and Impact of the Holocaust at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main. From 2010 to 2017, she served as Professor of Contemporary History at the University of Vienna.
