The Honorable Gregory W. Slayton is a former US Senior Diplomat and the recipient of the Distinguished Foreign Service Award from Members of the US Congress. He is also a best-selling author and Silicon Valley venture capitalist who was an early investor in Google and Salesforce. A former US Fulbright Scholar, Slayton is an honors graduate of Dartmouth College and the Harvard Business School and he earned a Master's in Asian Studies from the University of the Philippines. He has been appointed Distinguished Visiting Professor at some of the finest universities in the world. He is the Chairman of Slayton Capital and Family First Global, which this year (2024) will serve over ten million at risk families in some of the most challenging nations in the world. Sergei Ivashenko is the nom de plume of a Ukrainian/American scholar and the book's second main author who specializes in Ukrainian, Russian and Polish history. He travels frequently to these and other nations where security is a top concern.
