Dr. S. K. Ghosh received M. Sc. in physics and Ph. D. from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, in 1992 and 1996, respectively. He is currently working as Chief Principal scientist in the area of Microwave Tubes Division, CSIR-CEERI, Pilani, India and Professor in AcSIR. Before joining CEERI, he was associated with BEL, Bangalore, India. Presently, he is associated with design and development of various microwave tubes.
Dr. Anirban Bera received the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences, Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea. Since 2005, he has been with the Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute, Pilani, and currently he is leading the Beam Wave Interaction Group. He has authored and coauthored more than 35 publications in peer reviewed journals. His major fields of research are microwave tubes and applications, Metamaterial based electron beam devices and mathematical modeling.
Dr. AyanKumar Bandyopadhyay is working as a scientist in the Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute, Pilani, India since 2010. He has done M.Sc. (Physics) and M.Tech. (Microwaves) from Burdwan University, Burdwan West Bengal in 1998 and 2001 respectively. He has obtained his Ph.D. from Otto-von-Guericke University, Germany with distinction (Summa-cum-laude) and worked as a post-doctoral fellow in the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF), France. During his post-doctoral research, he has contributed in designing the higher order mode free radio frequency accelerating cavities of the ESRF. Dr. Bandyopadhyay was a visiting fellow at the department of electrical engineering, Perugia, Italy and at the Deutsche Electron en Synchrotron (DESY), Hamburg, Germany. His current research interests include design and development of microwave components, systems and high power microwave tubes.
