Bill Evjen is one of the most active proponents of the .NET technologies and community-based learning initiatives for .NET. He has been actively involved with .NET since the first bits were released in 2000 and has since become the president of the St. Louis .NET User Group as well as the founder and president of the International .NET Association, which represents more than 70,000 members worldwide. He is an acclaimed author and speaker on next-generation Web services and related technologies and is the author of Visual Basic .NET Bible and XML Web Services for ASP.NET (both from Wiley-VCH ). In addition to working in the .NET world, Evjen is a technical director for Reuters in St. Louis, Missouri.
