The aim of our work was to clarify the particularities of HSDC in the elderly subject, to determine the epidemiological, clinical, radiological and therapeutic profile of HSDC and to specify the clinical and radiological predictive factors of recurrence of this pathology. We carried out a descriptive, retrospective study of 50 patients, collected in the neurosurgery department of the Hôpital militaire principal d'instruction in Tunis for surgical management of symptomatic HSDC; during an eight-year period between the beginning of January 2010 and December 31, 2017.
