Roger Clavet (born February 8, 1953 in Quebec City, Quebec) is a Québécois politician. A journalist, he was first elected to the Canadian House of Commons in the Canadian federal election, 2004. He was a member of the Bloc Québécois for the riding of Louis-Hébert. He was the Bloc's critic of Asia-Pacific. He was defeated in the 2006 federal election. Louis-Hébert is a federal electoral district in the Canadian province of Quebec. Represented in the House of Commons since 2004, its population was certified, according to the detailed statistics of 2001, as 98,156. The district, in the Quebec region of Capitale-Nationale, consists of the western part of Quebec City, mainly the boroughs of Sainte-Foy Sillery and the southern part of Laurentien.
