Katherine Jane was raised in South Australia, had her children in New South Wales, and moved to WesternAustralia in the late 1990s. With a background in finance and administration, she and her husband spent fifteen years building, running, and marketing a successful farmstay business in York, Western Australia.Katherine's debut novel, Sally, is set in South Australia, though it could just as easily have taken place in the wheatbelt of Western Australia, where many soldier settlers were sent to carve out a living on the land.After selling their small farm and accommodation business, Katherine and her husband retired in 2023. She now enjoys a quieter life south of Perth in a place the locals call paradise, where her days revolve around reading, writing, daily exercise, and embracing the peace of her surroundings.
