The process of democratizing science and technology represents a challenge for Brazil, especially for the mass media. Research shows that a large part of the population is scientifically illiterate and that there is a constant demand for accessible content. In this book, we analyze the level of knowledge of people in Uberlândia, in the Triângulo Mineiro, and in Catalão, in the southeast of Goiás. The results reflect an incipient but developing scientific education.
