The author is indulged in a long term project to record and preserve the Vernacular residential Architecture of Baltistan, through on scale survey drawings. This study is intended to compliment the several architecture studies conducted in Baltistan in the past, and will eventually pave the way to a study in architectural anthropology, which in turn will help preserve the rich traditional Architecture of Baltistan.
