About the Author: Shivangini Chaudhary is a student at The Shri Ram School, Moulsari, Gurugram, with a deep passion for art, music, and cultural heritage. A pianist and heritage enthusiast, she is dedicated to preserving India's intangible traditions through creative initiatives. As part of Project Viraasat, she actively works to conserve and celebrate the country's rich cultural legacy. During the pandemic, Shivangini collaborated with the children of Langa musicians in Barnawa, Rajasthan, raising funds to support their community. Her efforts helped provide traditional instruments, establish a music library, and lay the foundation for a music school-an initiative recognized by UNESCO and the Rajasthan Tourism Department. Hailing from Haryana, Shivangini grew up surrounded by folktales passed down through generations. This collection is her heartfelt effort to preserve these timeless stories and ensure they continue to inspire future generations.
