They support the democratisation of knowledge and information and transform people from content consumers to content producers (Beer, 2008). This study investigated what the undergraduate students of Lagos State University, Lagos, Nigeria use Social Media tools for. It sought to understand the common Social Media tools used by them, the Medium they use to access these Social Media, the challenges they face while using these Social Media, their competency in the use of these new technologies and ultimately, its implication in incorporating them as an instructional strategy tool for undergraduates.

Obteve também o grau de B.Sc.Ed em Ensino de Biologia na Universidade Estatal de Lagos, Ojo, onde concluiu recentemente o seu Mestrado em Tecnologia Educativa. É um investigador astuto.
