Jo Cote has lived a colorful life all across the states and now resides in a small, sleepy town in Vermont where she is mother of one tenacious and wild little girl. She fell in love with the communities within Vermont and looks forward to watching her daughter grow with the roots she is creating. In addition to her writing, Jo has a small business that specializes in events, designs, and sweet treats. When her daughter came into the world, Jo found a strength to begin pursuing the dreams she had set aside to start a family, and now hopes to model perseverance and resilience for her daughter. From a profound love of reading, Jo was able to connect with her characters and bring to life the story they wanted to tell. She shares in the joy of imagination with her daughter which ignites her writing and has witnessed how stories can help heal, take you to faraway places, and enable you to lead the many different lives of characters.
